The human body is an enigma! Especially so for the first-year medical student during Anatomy. Anatomy can be overwhelming; I wanted to brighten the somewhat hellish rite of passage that all medical students must go through with a little bit of humor. It’s okay to be wrong! Misidentifying organs is a part of learning, as is putting your stethoscope on backward or forgetting to take vitals during the physical exam (all true stories on my end, by the way). You will get better with time and practice. And yes, that is a liver.
